Remove Your Apple ID Remotely (If You Have Already Given Us Your iPhone or iPad)

Mark Lee · Jul 1, 2025 · 1 min read

If you have already dropped off an iPhone or iPad with us and forgot to sign out of your Apple ID, there is no need to share your password. You can remove the device from your account yourself, from any computer or phone.

How to erase and remove your device

  1. Go to icloud.com/find and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Select All Devices, then choose the device you gave us.
  3. Select Erase This Device and confirm.
  4. After the erase starts, select Remove This Device.

If the device is offline, the erase will begin the next time it connects to the internet. Once removed, the device is no longer linked to your account and can be safely refurbished or recycled.

Drop off any weekday. No appointment required!
